This is such an important reminder to shift things to work for us rather than us always working around the things - so much harder to do in practice (for me anyway!) so I always love when other people are leading the way and making those changes. I'm in the midst of a bit of a reevaluation / rejig of my Substack too - thinking more about what I really want to write, offer, and do here now that I've got into a bit of a habit of showing up and sharing. Thanks so much for writing about this, Kate, and giving us all the same permission that you're giving yourself! 🥰
What a lovely note to receive, Charlene! I love your Substack and am excited to follow you on the journey here that feels most generative and spacious for you, too! :)
Thank you for this lovely comment! I'm in good company with many folks who are modeling this compassionate, spacious approach! Cheers to meaningful progress towards our goals without burning out.
This is so lovely and I really love the idea of spaciousness. I so appreciate you sharing how you are trying new approaches and your journey - it's such a generous gift. Thank you.
Yes! I had just signed up and saw that's what you're using. I do like the way it looks and I'm a sucker for good design. Looking forward to your beautiful emails!
What a refreshing read!! I’ve stopped & started with Substack & am now in a space of complete stop as I travel & work out what I’m doing.
In short I battled with this for ages (agonised over every single option known to mankind) and then finally gave myself permission to just travel on a previously planned trip & see if things worked out after that.
Yessss, great work Tiffany! I'm so pleased to hear that you gave yourself permission just to travel and allow things to sort themselves out to accommodate your plans. Some of my favorite newsletters only come out once a month or even more infrequently, and I always enjoy them when they arrive.
Thenk you, that’s actually a really big encouragement for little me. I find I write better when allowing myself space & have found the noise everywhere overwhelming.
Time away (with me losing my laptop en route to Greece) has sharpened my senses and given me greater clarity around what matters moving forward 😊

You're so welcome, always enjoy your perspective on these things. And thank you, that's so lovely to hear! 🖤
Congratulations and thanks for modeling healthy boundaries. It is inspiring to see people moving towards their dreams and not burnout. 👏🏻

It's my pleasure, Marti! Thank you for cheering me on!
Love this reflection, Kate! I’ve been thinking about getting an email client to do something similar. Flodesk is beautiful!
I'm using Flodesk! It's the email client of choice by folks I really like (Jen Carrington, etc.) and I love the aesthetics!
I love Flodesk too ❤️

Fully supporting your pursuit of spaciousness, my friend ✨️
