Last Call for Structure As a Path to Sustainability
Join us live Nov. 4th or watch the recording!
You can listen to an audio version of this newsletter above. Please note that this is unedited, there may be some natural stumbles, as I’m recording in my home office. Thank you and enjoy.
Hello Writers!
A short and sweet reminder that Dr. Katy Peplin and I will be running our workshop Structure as a Path to Sustainability tomorrow, November 4, 2023, from 12pm-4pm Eastern Time. Sliding scale rates are available.
Everyone who registers will receive a recording of the workshop, so if you can’t make it live or can only attend for a part of the time, that’s perfectly fine! Registration will close at 10am ET on November 4th.
Who It’s For
People who are working on long term, multi-step writing projects
People who find it hard to be self-directed while also self-compassionate
Anyone who feels left out of the traditional (ableist) productivity and scheduling tools
People who struggle to find where to start a project, or find themselves “back at square one”
What You Get
A four hour workshop (with plenty of breaks) designed by Dr. Henry and Dr. Peplin exclusively for this collaboration
Guided activities to help you develop a repeatable, adjustable template for your writing project
Tools and support to create your own personalized productivity plan
A recording, with transcription, to help you continue the work after our container has closed
Why We Made This
Because we’re huge fans of each other – and we want to celebrate the overlap in our approaches
Because a lot of the planning tools presuppose stability and predictability – but what if your body, brain, life, and/or work make that difficult to find?
Because many people hear “structure” and think “discipline” – and we believe that structure should also provide space for flexibility and change
Because many workshops are theory only – this gives you a chance to actually make tools that you can use
If you have any questions, reply to this post via email or send me a separate email to Kate@KateHenry.com.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
