Registration for Perceptible Progress: A Goals Course is OPEN!
Is “work on my project” a running item on your to-do list, yet you never feel closer to getting it done? As much as we might value our personal and professional goals, the process of reaching them can feel never-ending, daunting, and exhausting.
Yet, we pursue them because achieving our goals offer us a reward. Perhaps it’s the hope of attaining a new experience, a publication, a promotion, or simply personal satisfaction.
Whatever your motivation, the key to unlocking your desired outcome may be a shift in approach. Let’s go from broadly “working on your project” to defining the necessary components, organizing them into productivity sessions, and tracking your progress in a perceptible, tangible way.
That’s where Perceptible Progress: A Goals Course comes in. This online course is for knowledge workers who want to make headway on a personal or professional goal. Graduate students, artists, business owners, postdocs, writers, professors: this is for you.
Perceptible Progress walks you through the process of clarifying your goal, taking intentional action, developing an approach that feels achievable to you, and continually refining your approach. Like the course title suggests, you’ll learn how to increase momentum by tracking your progress and gain the skills to craft meaningful productivity sessions so you can actually advance towards completing your goal.
Perceptible Progress: A Goals Course includes:
Lifetime access to a 1.5-hour video workshop that guides you through a 4-part process for gaining perceptible progress on your goal (includes closed captions and transcript)
A 40-page digital workbook that will help you determine a plan for progressing on a specific goal while developing a kit of skills you can repeat for future goals
The opportunity to dive deeper through a 1-hour coaching call, offered at an exclusive discount for Perceptible Progress students
The course is $100 and Registration is open until Friday, August 4th and you can sign up for the course via my website. I can’t wait to support you on your goals!
P.S.
All this talk of goal-setting and creating flexible plans to achieve them has me thinking deeply about the concept of “self-discipline” that so often floats around productivity circles. Look out for a longer letter next month that will dive into the ways we’re taught to conceptualize “discipline” by culture and popular media!
Curiosities
This section of my letters is for things that made me say “hmmm” or “wow!” recently.
I am a big fan of stationary. While I stick to the standard hardcover, dotted, A5 Leuchtturm1917 notebook for my bullet journal (I just got the lilac one), my current fave notebook is the hardcover, wirebound, grid interior “The Notebook” by Appointed. (I’m not sponsored and this is not an affiliate link; I just like them.)
While I’m at it, my current favorite pens are Pilot G-2 in size 07. I love using the orange, pink, and lime green ones.
A few of my friends have now read one of my favorite books, Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder, and it brings me so much joy to hear their positive reviews! If you had to recommend ONE favorite book for folks to read, what would it be? Share via a comment below!

Ooo book recommendation: a memory called empire! Queer literary sci fi political thriller in space! Includes exploration of colonialism and art. It’s got something for everyone and it might be my favorite book of all time?
